Antimicrobial Resistance Initiative
Initiatives
This year, our initiative strengthened its collaboration with educational institutions in Rabat to further exploit the EIT-funded Superbug Awareness for Education (SAFE) project results. The goal is to target university and high school students and teachers through innovative educational methodologies, including online courses on antimicrobial resistance and the French translation of the various resources delivered by SAFE.
We received funding to develop training programmes for healthcare workers through the AMR-EDUCare project, which aims to prevent and reduce the burden of antimicrobial resistance by filling training gaps for the health workforce in southern European countries.
Throughout 2022, our team continued to develop, promote and improve the educational resources created within the initiative, such as the Micro-Combat card game, workshops, seminars and panel discussions.
